Rising Vehicle Theft Numbers in Bavaria

In 2023 vehicle theft in Bavaria increased by a hefty 40 per cent compared with the previous year to around 600 offences. This places the Free State seventh in the nationwide comparison. The statistics, however, only partially record the withholding of vehicles after a loan (vehicle embezzlement).
