By resolution of the German Bundestag dated 16 January 1998, acoustic surveillance is legal in Germany. Since then, law enforcement authorities have been entitled to secretly install listening devices in your flat, your house or your business premises.
But that is not all. Other states conduct corporate espionage within your company, appropriating technologies and know-how that you have researched for years in a very short space of time. Competing companies aggressively engage in industrial espionage. Bugs are installed, micro-cameras deployed.
The experienced specialists of Kurtz Detective Agency Nuremberg carry out a precise analysis of your premises – square centimetre by square centimetre. We put an end to unfair competition. After completing our analysis and removing all unwanted surveillance technology, we are happy to support you with advice and practical assistance in improving your defensive measures.
As professional counter-surveillance involves considerable technical effort, our usual fee calculations do not apply in this area.
The small crawling creatures and surveillance technology have one thing in common: at first, they are barely noticeable. As the insects multiply rapidly, they are usually discovered within a week. Surveillance technology, however, behaves differently: once installed, manual access is no longer required. Only after some time do you begin to wonder why your internal business information is familiar to other companies or even, although developed by you in secrecy, finds application within a competing business.
Just as often as an external person, for example a customer or someone from the cleaning company, is responsible, it is equally often an employee who has bugged your company premises. For the competing company, such a “mole” is extremely effective, as he or she can access all areas unobtrusively. In this way, microphones and cameras can be installed everywhere, from the toilets to the managing director’s office, without arousing suspicion.
If you suspect that you have fallen victim to acoustic surveillance, the competent investigators and specialists of Kurtz Investigations Nuremberg will be pleased to assist you. Using technical and manual methods, we examine every square centimetre of your company for espionage technology, microphones as well as miniature cameras, locate the devices and remove them. We prepare a comprehensive, court-admissible report so that you can, if necessary, hold the perpetrator or perpetrators liable for damages. For a personal and, of course, discreet consultation, please arrange an appointment at kontakt@kurtz-detektei-nuernberg.de or by telephone on +49 911 3782 0154.
Professional Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures (TSCM) is a highly complex technical activity that requires extensive expertise and considerable financial investment in purchasing and maintaining the necessary equipment. The acquisition costs for the technical equipment used by a fully equipped counter-surveillance team are in the six-figure range. Across the entire DACH region, only around a handful of professional TSCM teams remain that operate to a standard comparable with that of public authorities. As a result, booking lead times are generally several weeks, and the costs of engaging such services are higher than commonly assumed.
Examples of fees as cost guidance for our technical surveillance counter-measures examinations:
comprehensive TSCM examination of a motor vehicle, including software: from €3,800.00
comprehensive TSCM examination of residential and commercial premises: from €4,000.00
reduced TSCM (private-client standard) of a motor vehicle: €2,000.00
reduced TSCM (private-client standard) of residential/commercial premises: from €2,200.00
For domestic assignments, the advance payment is 70% of the total costs, and for assignments abroad, it is 100%.
